Introducing Jessica Tatieze, LAc

When I tell people I'm a Licensed Acupuncturist, they almost always ask if it can help X, Y, or Z symptom, and my answer is almost always YES! Chinese Medicine was created thousands of years ago as a way to treat any disease. Today, we do refer patients to other practitioners for certain needs, but Chinese Medicine can still help patients in many different ways.

As a family practitioner who focuses on skincare and pain relief, I enjoy treating those particular issues because there aren't many treatments that are effective long-term for them in conventional western medicine. My skincare patients love that I can help them naturally resolve acne, redness, dryness, and effects of aging, instead of having to take harsh medications or hormones. With pain, people find themselves in a tough spot because they are very uncomfortable, but often want to avoid relying on strong pain medications. Acupuncture gives them the pain relief they need and, over time, helps the body to resolve the issues. Pain can take a toll on patients' mental health as well, which they notice improves with acupuncture. Patients in Motor Vehicle Accidents often deal with a tremendous amount of pain and many say acupuncture is the only thing that gives them the relief they need to continue with the activities of daily life.

While skincare and pain management are the focus of my practice, Chinese Medicine is great at looking at the body as a whole and treating both the branch of the problem (the symptoms) as well as the root (the underlying issues). For this reason, I take all symptoms and other information about what is going on in the body into account when providing treatment for a balanced approach. I effectively treat patients for symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, infertility, insomnia, fatigue, digestive issues, and many other complaints. Many people also don't realize that Chinese Medicine is a wonderful preventative medicine and can be used to prevent injury and illness. It is extremely important to be proactive in our health, and is why I love our motto at 2bwell Clinic, "The best medicine is preventative medicine." Please contact us at 2bwell if you have any questions about how acupuncture can help you, or if you would like to come in for a free consultation.
